International Credit Union Day is October 15, 2020. Each year, credit unions around the world celebrate this day to raise awareness about the importance of members having access to a credit union as their primary financial institution. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought on challenging times for communities, but credit unions have remained available and ready to serve members in need. This year’s ICU Day theme is “Inspiring hope for a global community.” Hope is a resource that is accessible and available to anyone around the world. This theme is inspiring to American 1 as we do our part to contribute to a brighter future by creating financial wellness in our communities through personal everyday banking.
