The 22nd Annual Hit ‘em Fore Hospice Golf Benefit presented by American 1 Credit Union and TRUE Community Credit Union returns in 2022.
The four-person scramble will occur on Thursday, September 15, at the Grande Golf Club in Jackson, MI, a Golf Digest Places to Play 4.5 star-rated golf course.
The two community-oriented financial institutions, both headquartered in Jackson, MI, have set a goal of raising more than $70,000 for the Henry Ford Hospice Home in 2022 and are searching for sponsors to help make this year’s event a success.
President/CEO of TRUE Community Credit Union and Chair for the Henry Ford Hospice Board Chrissy Siders stated, “We are excited to host the Hit ‘em Fore Hospice Golf Outing with American 1 Credit Union once again. Jackson is unique in its ability to serve families during their loved one’s end of life through the Henry Ford Jackson Hospice Home. The funds raised from this outing will benefit families in need and allow them to be blessed with the care that only the hospice home team can provide. The 2022 Hit ‘em Fore Hospice Golf Benefit follows the success of the 2021 event, where American 1 Credit Union and TRUE Community Credit Union raised more than $70,000 for the hospice home.

Henry Ford Hospice Home is the only residence for end-of-life care in Jackson County. The facility offers private patient rooms with sleeping space for loved ones, a water therapy spa room with a walk-in tub, and features that encourage family gatherings, such as outdoor patios and walking paths, a gazebo and garden, a children’s playground, and two lounge areas with kitchens.
